Resources

The Quad Cities HEARTSafe Coalition provides an overview on the importance of bystander CPR and practices skills during our trainings. Don’t have time for a 30 minute training? No worries.

Hands-Only CPR consists of two easy steps:
1. Call 9-1-1

2. Push hard and fast in the center of the chest at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute

Below are additional resources to learn more about saving a life.

Community Health Care, Inc. Thrive and Revive – NARCAN® (Naloxone) OVERDOSE RESPONSE TRAINING

An opioid overdose can happen anywhere. Knowing how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to administer NARCAN® (naloxone) can save a life.

Our program helps save lives by educating the community on how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and respond quickly. We provide free Narcan kits and train individuals to use them, empowering people with the knowledge and tools needed to act in an emergency. By doing this, we are building a strong network of trained overdose responders throughout the community.
